Rigamus

Racial: Centaur
When you use your hooves for an attack, they deal 2d4 damage on a hit, plus your strength mod in damage. Additionally, while raging, the extra damage from the rage is thunder damage when you hit with your hooves. Finally, while raging, your hooves deal 3d4 damage instead of 2d4 when used to attack an object or structure.

Racial: Centaur
If you move at least 30 feet straight toward a target and then hit it with a melee weapon attack on the same turn, you can immediately follow that attack with a bonus action, making one attack against the target with your hooves.

Starting at 5th level, your speed increases by 10 feet while you aren’t wearing heavy armor.

Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn. The number of attacks increases to three when you reach 11th level in this class and to four when you reach 20th level in this class.

Class: Barbarian 7
Your instincts are so honed that you have advantage on initiative rolls. Additionally, if you are surprised at the beginning of combat and aren’t incapacitated, you can act normally on your first turn, but only if you enter your rage before doing anything else on that turn.

Class: Barbarian 9
At level 9, you receive 1 additional weapon damage dice for determining the damage for a critical hit with a melee attack. At level 13, this increases to two dice, and to three dice at level 17. This ability essentially means that your critical hits add one dice of your weapon’s damage dice to the attack roll. It’s just the die; it is not doubled or anything like that. It is the same size dice as your weapon is.

Class: Barbarian 3, Juggernaut
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage instills you with the strength to batter around your foes, making any battlefield your domain. Once per turn while raging, when you damage a creature with a melee attack, you can force the target to make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier). On a failure, you push the target 5 feet away from you, and you can choose to immediately move 5 feet into the target’s previous position.

Class: Barbarian 3, Juggernaut
You harness your fury to anchor your feet to the earth, shrugging off the blows of those who wish to topple you. Upon choosing this path at 3rd level, you cannot be knocked prone while raging unless you become unconscious.

Class: Barbarian 10, Juggernaut
Your blows can hurl foes through the air and into the attacks of your allies. As a reaction, when you push a creature at least 5 feet, you can then leap into an unoccupied space next to the creature. If you do so, the creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw with a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier or be knocked prone. This leap costs no movement and does not provoke opportunity attacks.

Additionally, whenever you push a creature into a space within 5 feet of one of your allies, the ally can use its reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature.

As an action, you can make a single attack roll with your battleaxe against an armored or naturally armored creature within 5 feet of you. If the attack hits, the target’s AC is permanently reduced by 1 until its armor is repaired, but cannot be reduced below 10 + the target’s Dexterity modifier. This attack has no effect on creatures with magical armor, unless your battleaxe is also magical.

Class: Barbarian 6, Juggernaut
You can muster destructive force with your assault, shaking the core of even the strongest structures. All of your melee attacks gain the siege property (your attacks deal double damage to objects and structures). Your melee attacks against creatures of the construct type deal an additional 1d8 weapon damage.

Class: Barbarian 10, Juggernaut
You wade into armies of foes, great swings of your weapon striking any who threaten you. When you make a weapon attack while raging, you can make another attack as a bonus action with the same weapon against a different creature that is within 5 feet of the original target and within range of your weapon.

You have mastered techniques to take advantage of every drop in any enemy’s guard, gaining the following benefits:
• When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature’s speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn.
• Creatures within 5 feet of you provoke opportunity attacks from you even if they take the Disengage action before leaving your reach.
• When a creature within 5 feet of you makes an attack against a target other than you (and that target doesn’t have this feat), you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.

Rigamus was working for the Swiftstride drifters. Saw 2 satyr leave with an unfamiliar figure earlier. Approached by elder, Mist, who said she worried about Izuni and her brother as they often get into trouble, "follow and help them out". Provided a crudely drawn map but detailed enough to follow, supplies. Rig made his way through the swamp, encountering abnormally large insects. Encountered the party at the mouth of a cave, from which they had just met an immortal being with a death radius curse. They were attacked by a massive swarm of large eyeballs, which surrounded the twins. Bound to his obligation, Rig plunged into the swarm and pulled out Dyon, while the casters used magic to knock back the swarm. Rig joined the fray with battleaxe but the eyes disappeared not long after. They decided to make camp and recover.

That night Rigamus experienced an overwhelming night-terror about [redacted] from his past. He fled in blind horror upon awakening, but was slowed by Dusty after running into a branch and brought back, healed by Dren. Told the party he had a bad dream, but didn't elaborate on the contents. They packed in the morning and decided to head back to the drifters for information and supplies. Rig felt as though they were being watched for several days. On arrival, reunited with Captain Lightsong, and also introduced to her family: Terra, aloof high-elf (fine robes and purple eyes+hair). Harley, a human (messy blue hair+eyes, fine robes). Kell (green-haired armored andro aasimar). Rupert (red dragonborn). Harley provided from never-ending teapot. Dusty got wasted on nepeta cataria so Rig carried her around. Rig eagerly volunteered to work for Lightsong, the fam had business with Mist but said they may need the party's help with something. Terra asked if anyone liked sparring and the twins volunteered; Rig declined. Spoke in private with Mist about his nightmare and the watched sensation, she encouraged him to share more freely with his party.

The party gathered for breakfast. Rigamus collected wood for a campfire, and Izuni whipped up a pot of mushroom and bug soup. Dyon's chaotic magic made him disappear for a short time, causing Rigamus distress, but Izuni explained that this happens regularly to her brother. When he returned, he was icy cold and claimed to have been sent to a void. Rig wrapped him in his bedroll. Seeing Rupert in the distance, they invited him to eat, and conversed for a time before joined by Lightsong. She told them of a three-thousand-year-old dungeon that was inaccessible to her and her family due to their Celestial bloodline. Inside was said to be a vault, which she desired the contents of, and the party agreed to help retrieve this for her, as they were already assisting Dren with hunting down old artefacts for study. Lightsong said they could keep anything outside of the vault. Harley used a teleportation gourd to transport them back to the swamp. They spent some time gathering herbs to help deflect the mass amount of mosquitos assailing them. Lightsong summoned a "ring of coziness" for herself and Harley before settling in, and the party progressed towards a gigantic, obsidian, spherical structure. Dusty rode on Rig's shoulders using a ten-foot pole to prod for danger, while the still recovering Dyon was carried by the centaur.

Upon entering The Orb, the party faced two enormous metal doors. Dren wrapped a rope around the handle of one and passed it to Rig, who set down Dyon, and pulled. The handle ripped off, so Rig stuck his hand through the opening and simply yanked the door off of the handle. Inside, a derelict mechanical receptionist waited at a dusty desk, requesting their identification. When it became insistent, Rigamus requested a tour of the facility, and they were permitted to proceed. The next set of doors began to open but broke partway through the process, so Rigamus pushed them apart with such (nat 20) strength that they became jammed ajar. Dusty had decided to inspect the receptionist, and when it reached for a button to call security, she dismantled it. The party hurried through the busted doors and into a dark hallway. At the end was a conference room with rotten leather chairs and a dusty table. Izu found a little pot with a petrified shrub on it, but it was so ancient it couldn't be revived by her magics. Back in the hall, something dragged itself out of a side door, looking like the receptionist but with a damaged leg. It asked for their names, all provided them gave save Dyon, who gave a fake name. Rig commented loudly "I didn't know that was your name". Still, it chosezto show them the facility. Rig offered to carry it since it can't walk well. Izu asked its name and the name of the facility. It introduced itself as "Guide" then "This facility houses and produces-" blue smoke emitted, the eye lights turned off and on again, commenced the tour. "This here is where staff members meet" was as far as it got before the audio cut out, it declared it was broken and would be replaced by a new guide. Rid tries to follow it through the next door, placing his palm on a handprint panel, but it turned red and both doors bolted shut. Trapped, he panicked, and kicked the doors clean off (nat 20) with his hind legs. A security bot arrived, the party decided not to resist. A second bot arrived to drive them from behind, and they were taken through halls labeled kitchens, guest quarters, maintenance, etc. They enter a door labeled security. Inside was a holding cell, which they were told to wait in until staff returned, but seeing the condition of the staff room, they decided it was time to resist.

The fight with the two security bots commenced. The first bot was pummeled by the party, but when Rigamus swung his axe at the second, he (alone) witnessed a surge of ghostly hands pushing his weapon off target. Voices from his nightmare whispered in his ear. Shaken, he retreated from the fighting, seemingly cowering until Dyon led him from the room by hand. The party discovered a locked hatch in the ground and decided ripping it open might cheer Rig up. He forcefully removed it (though there was a handle mechanism they could have just opened it with). After an extremely complicated climb down a ladder, they at last discovered the vault which Lightsong had sent them to pilfer. Within was a cache of beautiful weapons seemingly made from gleaming, brightly-colored scales. During their travel out, Rigamus remained haunted by strange sounds and sensations. He mentioned wishing he could keep the axe from the vault because his "must be cursed". Upon inspecting him with magic sight, Dren caught a glimpse of a ghostly hand by Rig's ear. They proceeded out, finding an emergency exit that took them straight to the top.

The treasure was handed to Lightsong & Fam, with Rig ensuring no-one in the party pocketed anything. Noticing the fam was uncomfortable around the weapons of their corresponding colors, Rig asked if they were harmful to them. Lightsong revealed that they're gem dragons and that the weapons were designed from the scales (and other parts) of distant kin, they wanted to collect them to destroy them. Lightsong paid them with magic stones that would enable long distance communication, Rig offered one to her so they could stay in touch. They are also given 10 platinum, 6 mystery tablets, and two sets of dragon scalemale. Rig was encouraged to don the golden cuirass. Izuni wanted to trade artifacts with Harley. There was a bracelet that increased charisma, which Rig tried on for her, but it came with the side-effect of making everyone around him suspect he was a hooker until it was removed. His eloquence also increased exponentially, confusing and disturbing the party, so Izuni promptly passed on it and took an infinite chocolate box. Rig declared a post-dungeon chocolate was their new ritual. They each had one, Dusty's gave her a +10HP boost (nat 20), Rig's (19) reminded him of fond memories, Dyon's (1) made him feel if he cast a spell within the next minute it would be a critical (but it tasted like vomit), tried to thunderstep away from the party to puke but caused max damage to the entire crew. Dren cast healing on himself, Lightsong cast a huge healing ring that restored their health, and Rig gave Dyon his canteen to clean up. Rig's supposed curse was given a closer inspection. Dren tried to remove it, but felt a resistance and heard a language he couldn't understand, taking necrotic damage to his hand. Repeated what he'd heard to Rig, who understood, and asked Lightsong if she could take him to the giant city of Impetus. Feared he would have to part from party, but they assured they would come because he would do the same for them. Group Hug as Lightsong assured she would help get them there. He needed to find someone from his past: Shivarr, a minotaur working as a bouncer for the Bloodied Anchor tavern.

On arriving to Impetus, Dusty needed to stop for a prayer and they decided to follow her to her place of worship. Stopped by cats, who only allowed her and a cat-shifted druid Izuni to pass. After she concluded tribute at the alter, they proceeded to the tavern. Multiple locals recognized Rig and greeted him positively, including a drunk dwarf outside of the tavern. She confirmed still Shivarr worked at the tavern, Rig gave her his flower grown. Shiv and Rig greeted each other with a visibly deep sentiment. They talked of "old companions", one leonen was retired after arena fights, Revverrock the tortle was still teaching, Absurian the drow disappeared not long ago, and the bugbear had passed away in her sleep only recently. Rigamus mentioned the nightmares, which Shivarr admitted he was experiencing as well, and speculated it had to do with Draugr. Rig commented about needing to "fix what we did". When the party questioned them, Shivarr mentioned in brief that they were enslaved by Firar as children. He consented to Rig sharing more of their story; encouraged by him and Mist, Rig explained how they had to escape "but not while their masters were alive". Dusty asked if they killed them in their sleep, which caused Rig to begin bawling. Previously a story only known to the escapees and Lightsong: they were going to be used as fodder for the Jotunn the next morning, so instead, they murdered their sleeping captors and stole their ship. When lost at sea, Lightsong rescued them and took them to the nearest port. Explained that the Firar value death in battle, so must be haunting the escapees now for giving them dishonorable deaths. Dren didn't know how to fix it but said they could go to his temple of wisdom for more information. The party agreed, and traveled there together with Harley. While Dren searched for books on their situation (and Izuni looked for books on mushrooms) Rig kept a good grasp on Dusty so she wouldn't misbehave.

Several hours ticked by. Dusty, Dyon, Rig, and Izuni fell asleep to the sound of Harley turning pages on the mushroom book. Dren scoured the archives and managed to collect what information he could on the Firar, but given their hostility towards outlanders, this was scarce. He relayed to the party info on draugr: vengeful Firar spirits who linger in the wake of a dishonorable death. They could only be banished if one appealed to the Firar god, spoke with a Firar shaman, buried the bodies (though it had been three decades, so this wasn't an option), or challenged the spirit in combat. Knowing Shivarr was already looking for their escapee friends, Rig suggested they track down the others to consult them. They elected to go to the gladiator ring, where his old retired Leonen friend spectated matches. Upon arriving however, they found the Leonen dead with a devastated Shivarr nearby. As Rig cradled the corpse, a spectral voice said in Firar: "Three down, two to go". The Leonen, Owlbear, and Tortle had already been ended by the draugr. Grieving and enraged, Rig said he wished he could fight the spirit on all their behalves. The spirit asked if he wanted to champion for them, which he immediately agreed to. The draugr posessed the Leonen's corpse, withering it into a grotesque zombie husk. It and Rigamus entered a Rage state. Dyon tried to help by casting Enlarge, but whatever deity backed the Draugr did the same, making both opponents massive. They faced off in the gladiatory ring. It slashed Rig's cheek with its axe, then tried to headbutt him, but Rig evaded. He retaliated with a Reckless Attack and bonus attack, gauging a massive wound into the arm, revealing spectral flesh underneath. Rig grappled the drauger and dug his fingers into the wound, trying to rip the arm clean off. The draugr tried to butt him with the axe pommel but (nat 1) its greataxe was blocked and snapped in half. Rig's Battleaxe Crushing Blow took a chunk out of its chest, which crumbled to reveal spectral ribs. Rig, shaking his axe, screamed in Firar "I cracked your head once and I'll do it again". The draugr kicked him in the chest. Rig tried to crush its head but was blocked. It slashed back, striking him brutally across the torso, but the injured arm broke off, a piece of sharp bone sticking out. It lunged to pierce with this, some bone breaking off inside of Rig's chest. Bleeding and grievously wounded (30% health), Rig channeled his rage for another Crushing Blow. Invigorated by Dusty and Izuni's cheering, he brought his battleaxe up and swung straight down, crushing through the skull and spine, desecrated body erupting as he split it in twain. As it collapsed into a pile of dusty jerky, Rig's rage subsided and he apologized to the still standing spirit. It told him "You are now a true son of Firar", and Rig witnessed a winged figure descending from the sky to carry away the spirit. Dyon removed the Enlarge buff. Shivar tacklehugged him and they fell to the ground, party joined for a hug dogpile. Shiv and Rig gathered the lion's remains after Rig was healed by Dren and Izuni. Agreed on burial rights with his friend and gathered the party onto his back / into his arms, traveled together back to tavern. Lightsong was gone, Innkeep said she'd left two hours prior (after mentoring the local bard to play significantly better). Called Lightsong on speech stone and relayed everything that happened. She had bought them rooms and booze, so they went to rest. Harley parted ways with them after much farewell hugging. Rigamus awoke the next morning to a symbol on his arm: a blood blessing, distinguishing mark among the Firar people.

In the wake of Rig's triumph against the draugr, he shared his blood blessing mark with his party. Dyon asked Rig why he was staying with them now that he was finally free. Rig explained that they stuck with him through his trials, so he would happily do the same and protect them. The party contacted the undead orc from the start of the campaign, who said the death radius around him has worsened. Dyon suddenly spotted a floating eye, which Rig reflexively clapped between two massive hands, popping it over the party. Gnomes arrived in the tavern, including the one Dusty detained in the first dungeon, who said she owed him an apology. She argued that he was the one breaking pottery. More gnomes from the city council and security automatons arrived, declaring them guilty for releasing a dangerous being from the tunnels. The party was led to a court waiting room. Since Rig wasn't there when it happened, he didn't need to attend, but he said he could attest to the party's character and was allowed. Dyon offered Dren invisibility to escape, but Dren wanted to try and go about it appropriately. The group was asked to give their side of the incident. Their account seemed to aggravate the council, who called for Truth magic to be used. While the party accepted, the gnomes refused. As the council was deciding what to do, a Justice chose to act as the judge on the case, pleasing the council as it saved them time. The party and the gnomes, called the Spelunkers, retold their encounters to the Justice. The gnomes lied about what had happened and why they were at the ruins. The Justice, revealing herself to be the High Justice Eliza, leader of The Justices, declared the party "mostly innocent", though instructed them to summon Mist to the council as she was the one who instructed the party to enter the dungeon. The Spelunkers were left at the mercy of the council. The party went shopping, stopping first at the Crystal Eye, where Izu stocked up on healing potions to split with the team. Dren bought several items. Dusty bought Winged Anklets.

Outside the shop, Dren experienced a strange sensation as a cart passed. They followed, eventually learning a cursed painting was contained in the Tinkerwell cart, which he contacted his scholar associates about. They warned not to pursue, as the object was too dangerous, but to ask his superiors the following day for an explanation. Returning to the sanctuary, they would stay the night, separated given the size of the rooms. The following morning, Dren tried to collect his party after realizing they didn't know where the dining hall was. The girls were missing, so he was collecting Dyon and Rig. Dusty and Izu had been exploring, with Izu hunting for mushrooms, using gaseous form to pass a locked door. Dusty kept watch, though a cleric confronted them given an alarm spell had been set off. Dusty tried to message Izu on the communication devices that "someone was coming, hide or run," incidentally conveying the message to everyone else with twin devices: Dren, Dyon, Rig, Harley, and Lightsong. Rig, panicked, grabbed the guys and took off to find the girls. Dren contacted Dusty, then told Rig where to go. He nearly kicked down the doors to the shack, but Dren managed to talk him down. Izu led the cleric from the shack. After accidentally damaging a mushroom, she helped repair it with spore druid magic, then asked if he could tutor her some time in their shared class. They bided their time through the day, with Rig mostly eating and lifting things, until the high priestess of Oghma and head archivist, Min, was available. She lazily accepted the party while in her bathrobe, but quickly changed upon realizing Rig was there. She was a self-proclaimed fan of Rig- having asked Dren to fetch his autograph- since the coliseum match and prompted Rig for the story leading up to that momentous battle. He shared his backstory exposition life story; the party learned he was a father. In return she would give him a book so he could finally learn about centaurs. They managed to contact Mist and asked her to come to court. She said she'd pay them for missions if they came back to the caravan. In preparation for their long journey, Rig decided to use his small fortune to buy a carriage built by Livel the gnome, which the party contributed modifications to for their individual comforts. They would need to return in another day or two to collect.

Traveling back through the Merchant District, Dyon suggested they take a detour which passed by the Tinkerwell manor. He controlled a bird familiar to scout the grounds, but Dren adamantly discouraged him from progressing since he had orders from his church/college to wait. They proceeded to the stores so Izu could expand her herbalism kit. They came across Rig's "indentured servitude" stall: Kizzer's general goods. Rig refused to go there, but wouldn't hold the party back from doing so. Kizzer tried to swindle them with outrageous prices though they weren't fooled and left. At another shop, they met a bizarre plant-man named Briar, who was able to provide the alterations at a fair price. The group returned from their shopping episode and dogpiled in Dren's room to avoid the confusion and chaos that comes with splitting up. They rested, ate breakfast, and decided to hang around town for a few extras days waiting for the book on centaurs promised by high priestess Min, which they could read to Rig on the ride back to Mist's caravan. They agreed to join an arena match to burn time and make money. On signing up, they were told to appoint a group leader. Rig was unanimously elected given his gladiatorial experience, despite lacking authority. The group chose, from a list of possible opponents, to fight strong mechanical creatures (hard difficulty). They signed a contract, which was read to Rig so he could scrutinize the arrangement before parking their wagon. They had time to prepare and chose to shop again. Rig purchased an adamantine greataxe, Dyon purchased an adamantine dagger and a portable hole and a massive bomb-shaped pyrotechnic as they needed PIZZAZZ to earn crowd favor. Dyon made a contract with the shop keep: if they won and sponsored the shop they'd get a great deal, if they lost they would owe additional gold. They accepted. Before entering the arena, Rig declared their team name as "The Unherdables", which the announcer mispronounced as The Unhurtables for the duration of the match.

The battle was about to begin. Rig prepped his team by decking them out with warpaint; Dusty assisted with her pawprints. They entered the arena to uproarious applause, many spectators eager for a good show after the recent draugr fight. They faced two mechanical wolves and a massive mechanical tiger. Rig took the larger enemy on first, trying to keep between it and the rest of the party. Izu healed him after a near fatal attack from the tiger, then helped him in finishing it off while Dusty, Dren, and Dyon destroyed the wolves. There came a surprise attack from a giant mechanical mantis. In the midst of battling it, Dyon released the pyrotechnic from the portable hole. It set off beneath the mantis, lifting it into the air until it struck a magical forcefield above the coliseum, where it exploded in a fantastic display. The Unherdables accepted their winnings and returned to their sick wagon. They received a large sum (estimated somewhere between 600-900 gold per Dren's perception), five stone pendants with arcane script (one time use pendants that protect from one damage type), three jars of floating eyeballs (alcoholic potions of true sight), and a promotional letter to a magic shop called Solomon's Gate including a map.
